met dar for dinner today... heeX... long time nv meet up for dinner outside le... kinda broke, but worth it... haha... after that we went to starbucks for a cup of coffee, n again, its been a long time since the both of us sat down n enjoyed our coffee... ^^ after that i sent dar off the bus, n went to meet bernard to play pool... long time nv play le... n hopefully he doesnt 'pung sei' me again... x(

needless to say, billiard is definitely harder to play than pool... it requires a lot more skill compared to playing pool as the table is close to 4 times the size of a pool table, the pockets are smaller and the balls are smaller as well... so it takes a lot more accuracy n skill to play billiard well...
i remember playing billiard before with my old school mates, but nv really enjoyed the game as it took us too long to complete a game n we used to play outside occasionally... we can take up to 1 hour plus to complete one game n that costs us a bomb... so i dropped it n played pool instead...
ever since i started going gym with qing, we have been playing billiard for at least 1-2 times a week... i must say im improving as we play along... it wasnt easy playing at first, but i manage to get the hang of it n can consider to be able to play the game... i learnt the rules of the game as well as the placement of the coloured balls... some ppl say that as long as u can play billiard, pool isnt a problem... well, that i must say is true... after playing pool with bernard today, i find that applying the same technique as i used in billiard helps me to play better than before...
im enjoying playing billiard more n more as i find it more challenging, tho playing pool is fun as well... just that i like the challenge... playing outside is so expensive, so i rather play at my place here where its free... and hardly anyone uses it in the morn n noon... well, i will keep on practising whenever i have the time, n hopefully will be able to play it better in the future... ^^
