Paris is buzzing with preparations for the imminent G-8 summit. Meanwhile, on a flight to Jordan a French intelligence agent dies. The contents of his briefcase sends the CIA into a frenzy... It seems the French hace infiltrated Al Qaeda at the highest levels. But why won't they share their information? To investigate, the Americans bring Jake Grafton back from retirement. And the man Jake wants in Paris is Tommy Carmellini.
With his bosses desperate to avoid a terrorist attack at the summit, Tommy is forced into some deadly situations. But the deeper he digs, the less things makes sense. He's only been back from Iraq for two weeks so he's hoping for some down time in Paris, but when his team are slaughtered and his car is blown up, Tommy finds himself fighting for his life.
